When the story opens you meet Erik before the accident that leave him disfigured. He is a huge star and living the life. After the accident he disappears from the face of the earth. Until one day Rat Race enters his domain and he see the lovely Christine.

Christine is a girl who has been dealt a hard hand in this life and has work everyday just to live. She returns to Erik's theater one night to sleep. That night changed her life.

Wow when I was contacted about sharing this book I was excited and had high expectations for this it as I am a huge fan of Phantom of the Opera . This story didn't disappoint me in the least. It blew me away. The characters are amazing. You can't help but to fall for them. The writing flows so easily you all into the world of Erik and Christine and you can see the whole story play out before your eye not like you are reading them but like you can see them.

I would recommend this story to anyone. It is a must read!!!

I sense Seb behind me. Just being near him sends a low pulse of current over my skin, making me hot with desire. His hand gently sweeps my hair to one side as he plants soft kisses on my neck. “I’ll turn the heat up. You’ve got far too many clothes on for my liking, Izzy.”
He moves away from me but I remain still. We’ve never been together as just us, without the pretence of exploring my sexuality. Will it be the same?
“Why are you still standing there, sweetheart?” He turns me to face him and his eyes are dark, filled with blues and greens.
“I… I wasn’t sure.”
“Oh, sweet girl. I want you naked beneath me, and if you don’t hurry up and start taking clothes off…” he pauses to run his finger down the centre of my chest to the top of my jeans, “… I’m going to strip you myself.” My breath catches at his words, and the familiar ache at the bottom of my stomach makes me want to squirm. I run my palms up his chest and rest them on his shoulders.
“As you wish.” I smile with my eyes, and it sparks the reaction I want. Seb pulls off my jumper and unbuttons my shirt. He peels it from my shoulders to my wrists, restraining my arms behind me. His hands move quickly, fulfilling his threat to strip me. He picks me up, carries me to the bed and pushes me back so he can pull my jeans and knickers off. He’s not going to explain a freaking thing to me, I think as his mouth settles into a firm line. Asher’s eyes appear half pissed off and half sad. He looks like he’s struggling with something, but he’s not saying anything. I haven’t spent that much time with Asher, but I can tell getting words out of him will take some engine grease and possibly a crowbar.
I think I’d rather skip the part where he has to let me down slow.
“Okay. We’ll talk about it later,” I concede with a shrug and shake of my head.
In the grand scheme of things, I have a pretty good idea of what he’ll say. I mean, honestly? Who would pick a girl like me? I’m not sure how this whole Wraith mating stuff goes, but if the man has a choice, he has to prefer a better crop than me.
I don’t need to be worrying about this now anyway. So what if I felt a connection to the first man probably ever? So what if I clung to him like a monkey on a tree? So what if I feel safe with him, a feeling I haven’t had in a very long time? So freaking what? I don’t deserve a man like him. After the lives I’ve taken... happiness just isn’t in the cards for me.
“I'm all right. It’s not going to hurt. I didn’t even notice it was dislocated before now. It’ll get popped back in, I’ll be able to heal and walk. Win-win. You can go. I’ll be fine,” I tell him, my voice sounding almost dead even to my ears. I need to cut this off as soon as possible. His face tells me he is reluctant, but he needs to go.
“Come on Asher,” Evan says at his elbow, and she escorts him from the room, practically dragging him behind her up the stairs.
My eyes are on the stairs long after he disappears from my sight. In those moments, I take the time to shore up my heart. I don’t need to rely on Asher. I shouldn’t even rely on Aurelia or Rhys or prey on the hospitality of the Wraiths.

I should do the right thing. For once, I should do what I’ve always needed to do. But I need to be able to walk to do it.
